SCAB, the now defunct Scottish Band, was once known as one of the most environmentally friendly bands of the 90's. Re grouping for this special edition Live Earth video, the band made sure not to contribute more than one and a half tablespoons of carbon to the Al Gore Live Earth concerts, which were estimated to produce about 74,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. With estimates of planting 100,000 trees to offset the effect of Live Earth, SCAB planted a small geranium (genus Pelargonium) to offset their contribution. Furthermore, in this original song, Booz Cruise, the band used old equipment from their college days and recycled some parts of the song from other unused songs. The acoustic guitar player did not bathe for a week.
