    Hello there,

I just bought featured video for 5 days and now I have a few questions.

Do you still have to promote your video by keeping the computer on. This uses a lot of electricity. Or will my video be in the system for 5 days because its featured???

How do you sign in to see your featured video, how many days left and also how to extend it again???

Any news off people here of how many views they got for their featured video?

Does it get past the 300 view barrier of the dreaded freeze count on youtube?

  2. Hi, Chemer... when you are featured your video will appear before any other videos that aren't featured. Among featured videos, those with the most points will show up first. Without any points, you should still show up in the top 5 or 6 videos without any promotion.

You don't sign in to see the video as being featured. This entire site has been set up so that people don't need to bother with passwords and logins. You should be able to see your featured video on either the front page or the following page: http://www.viewtubetrain.com/featured-videos.php

It's hard to tell exactly how many views the featured videos get. We've seen mixed results on that, including results with the 300 view barrier. The truth is, I'd say that he results depend heavily on the quality of the video itself. That extra featured boost in visibility and with the search engines seems to help a good video take off.

As far as a sure-fire way to get past the 300 view barrier, I highly reccommend the 5,000 view package. You can buy one here:

With the 5,000 view package, we've seen videos blast through the 300 view barrier in about 3 days. The views freeze for a little while then they jump straight up to like 500, 800, etc. You can read more about the 300 view barrier on this thread:
