Did you have the toolbar installed before?

If it was installed before, the best way to upgrade is using the instructions above, using Firefox's built-in procedures. If you do it that way, you don't have to download it, firefox will automatically download it for you.

If it wasn't installed before and you just installed it for the first time, it shouldn't require any upgrading.

Let me know, thanks.

To update your VTT toolbar, simply do the following:

1. In FireFox, go to Tools > Add-Ons and it should show a list of your FireFox extensions.

2. Click "Find Updates" and it should scan for updates on all exensions. It should find an updated extension for the ViewTubeTrain Toolbar.

3. Install updates

and you should be all set!

Hi,

In general, trying to track video promotions on an hour-by-hour basis isn't a great idea. There are a lot of factors at play and it can be misleading. For example, based on the time you posted your last message, it appears you were comparing ~midnight EST-10am EST with ~8pm EST - ~midnight EST. Because most of our users are in the US, we have more users during normal waking hours for North America than we do for what's in the middle of the night for North America. That would explain the different results in such a small period of time. In general, just give your efforts at least a couple of days before trying to evaluate the effectiveness.

Hi,

You aren't giving us a lot of information to work with here. The basic steps are:

1. Install the Firefox toolbar:
http://www.viewtubetrain.com/install-toolbar.php

2. Enter your video URL into the toolbar and click the green "Play" button. If you let it run in its own window on only one computer per IP, it should increase your points.

Again, we switched to a technique that will register most of the views we deliver as not having a referrer. That means that most of the views will not go to the numbers from any site. You said our numbers didn't stop... you said they went up by 700.

Also, those numbers are usually well behind others in terms of when they update. I usually suggest that people wait at least a week before analyzing them.

Either way, the big point to take away here is that we are delivering views in a different way than we did when you placed your last order. In the past, every view we sent would register as having a source. In response to customer feedback, we are sending the majority of our views with no referrer. That means you shouldn't expect the number you're looking at to go up by 10,000.

Furthermore, everything has been slow for the past two weeks due to the major outage on YouTube's servers. We're still delivering your views. You can see the views from our sources are increasing. Just understand that right now, those will only represent the minority of the views we send.

Hi,

First, your views have increased by about 9,000 since you placed your order.

Second, we have started using a different technique so that most views will not show up as having a source.

Third, those statistics about view sources are usually the last statistics to update. They usually run at least a week behind. There are currently major issues with YouTube's counting systems as discussed here:

http://www.viewtubetrain.com/forum/topic/quick-note-to-paid-views-customers

Because of these issues, I would expect various statistics and insights to be significantly delayed or in error.

Let me know if you have any questions.

We could probably arrange that for fast views orders. If you are just looking to make sure that you are getting what you paid for, however, such lengths wouldn't be necessary. If you make an order, we can help you identify which views are ours.

I would warn you, however, that if you order views, particularly normal views, while you are using other promotional systems, it can make it very difficult to accurately track your order. This is especially true if you keep your insights private. If you are ordering fast views, this is less likely to be an issue.
